Standard Rooms
Recently refurbished standard rooms feature magnificent, modern and stylish furniture, all new beds with fluffy feather duvets and pillows, contemporary warm colours, and most with 26" LCD televisions.

Deluxe Rooms
The Deluxe Rooms are significantly larger than the standard room providing you with more room to relax and spread out!
These rooms consist of either one queen bed or 2 queen beds or 2 singles and some rooms have a balcony overlooking North Terrace (twin rooms and balcony available upon request only). All rooms have 32” LCD televisions, leather desk chairs, magnificent, modern and stylish furniture, very comfortable bedding with fluffy feather duvets and pillow, ensuite bathroom, 5 complimentary foxtel channels, pay per view movies, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities.
The artwork displayed in the rooms is of local landmark icon buildings showcasing the fantastic Adelaide architecture of the last 19th and early 20th centuries showcase.

The Hotel's signature restaurant, The Federal Restaurant and Bar boasts a contemporary look and a tasty menu of modern Australian cuisine.

The Federal bar is an ideal spot to enjoy a a pre-dinner drink from the fantastic new wine list the "Grand Vins Mercure". These wines have been selected to represent the best wines of the South Australian region from their well trained and passionate wine waiters. Great wines available by the bottle or glass.

River charm and history - A scenic journey through Verdun and the undulating Adelaide Hills en-route to the Murray River where we board for an enjoyable cruise aboard a Riverboat with excellent river views and a delightful morning tea of scones, jam and cream with either tea or coffee. A delicious two course lunch in a restaurant in the township of Mannum, with time to investigate the historic main street. Visit the restored 100 year old Paddlesteamer PS Marion, moored at Mannum Dock and now a living museum.

Perhaps ride a horse drawn tram (own expense) across the causeway to Granite Island.
